Article III
Origination and Expiration of the Membership
 
3.1.  

The membership in Association is voluntary. Membership may be full, associated and honorary.
 

3.2.  

Legal entity as well as individual that has been registered with the Czech Telecommunications Office (ČTÚ) as an operator of telecommunications network in the Czech Republic may become regular member. The candidate will express in writing his agreement with Association Articles and its will to support the Association and participate in Association activities.
 

3.3. 

A legal entity or individual doing business in the area of electronic communication may become an Associated member.
 

3.4. 

The new regular member (3.2) is obliged to present the registration document.
 

3.5. 

An individual significantly contributing to development of telecommunications in the Czech Republic may become a Honorary member. Honorary membership is granted by the General Assembly upon its own initiative or upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of Association.
 

3.6. 

Full membership of founders of Association originates from signing minutes of the constituting General Assembly. Other regular member may join Association under agreement of the General Assembly or upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of Association.
 

3.7. 

Associated membership originates from resolution of the Board of Directors and is liable to ratification of the General Assembly.
 

3.8. 

Membership expires by member resignation or by member exclusion by General Assembly. Notice period is three months from the first day of the month following delivery of termination to Board of Directors of Association.
 

3.9. 

In the event any member acts against interests of Association or breaches common ethic principles, such breaching member can be excluded upon resolution of General Assembly from Association after expiration of time for remedy set forth in previous written notice by Board of Directors of Association. Excluded member loses the right to take part in activities of Association. This provision is without prejudice to mutual settlement of obligations between Association and excluded member.
 

3.10. 

Excluded member can ask for cancellation of his exclusion at appropriate court. Action against this resolution has no suspensory effect in terms of right of excluded member to take part in Association activities as regular member, however, it keeps him rights of associated member until proceedings at law are ended.
